There has been some excellent treatments of small book of Lamentations in recent years. Berlin‘s commentary is absolutely excellent, while House and (to a lessor degree) Hillers are both solid critical commentaries. Bergant, Dobbs-Allsopp, Provan, and Huey (for more conservative readers) all provide excellent commentary for pastors and teachers. Dearman is a great popular commentary (as is Provan), and while Harrison is a bit dated, it too is pretty good.
