Nahum’s invective against the Ninevites has been the subject of a number of good commentaries. Scholars have Roberts‘s detailed OTL volume, as well as Robertson. Smith‘s work is good, though perhaps too brief. For pastors and lay people there are the standard series, of which Achtemeier is quite good, as is Sweeney.
