In recent years there have been numerous commentaries on Isaiah published. Some of the better critical commenaties include those by Baltzer and Machinist, Blenkinsopp, Childs, and Wildburger, though if I had to recomend only one, I would go with Blenkinsopp. Childs is good, though perhaps too concerned with a canonical reading (his commentary on Exodus is superior).

Pastors will find much to ponder in the commentaires by Achtemeier, Hanson, Oswalt, Seitz, Knight.

On a more popular level, I find Goldingay’s volume excellent, whiile more conservative readers will appreciate the volumes by Moyter and Oswalt.
